Who are we and what is our mission?

We are the first of our kind bringing together a national network of air source heat pump installation and repair engineers that are vetted for work quality, liability insurance and qualifications.

We make sure the work that is carried out is by fully qualified engineers, not a general plumber and then an engineer is paid to sign it off. This way we can keep the quality of work at the highest level and connect you with skilled professionals that are experts in their field that have shown they hold the correct qualifications to install these products.

Our aim is to become the largest network of private engineers delivering a national ashp service and to become a trusted brand mark that both consumers and engineers can rely on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please get in touch if you have a question that has not been answered below.

You will need space for a typical unvented hot water cylinder and also approx 5ft by 2ft outside flat level ground.

Air source heat pump and cylinder installation costs start from £3500

Yes they are currently running a boiler upgrade scheme with a grant upto 7k this is not guaranteed to last long though so you are better to to try and get it whilst you can.

They are no longer noisy like the first generation and older models. With advancements in technology the ultra quiet versions now being sold you won’t even know it’s there.

Our list of engineers will advise you when they do their quotation and site visit if your home is suitable and if the heat loss calculations are adequate to make an ashp the right choice for you.

It is a lot greener than running fossil fuels to power your heating and hot water and also a lot more efficient with a cop value averaging 4.5 that means that for every 1 unit of energy you put in you get 4.5 units out.

They will be offset against your gas/oil/lpg that you are no longer using so you will use more electric but then none of the above which should bring your overall bill down depending on the ever changing prices.

They should be serviced annually like any gas boiler.

This we will need more information to answer and the engineer will go through if an ashp is right for your home when they carry out a site inspection. Insulation levels, the age of the boiler, the type of house all play a part in this.

You do not need planning unless it fails certain criteria which will be checked on your site visit. You will need dno approval from your network operator but the ashp engineer will apply for this on your behalf
